Divine Heritage, Earthly Responsibility II
When humans gain the ability to affect nature to such an extent that, whether intentionally or not, they begin to take control over the weather, at that point humans have stepped into the role of gods.
To acknowledge our divinity may well be necessary, in order to meet our current challenges with solutions. However, if we are indeed children of the gods and have that divine heritage, we must begin by assuming full responsibility for the things our inherited position means.
If this is to be done with moderate amounts of humility and success, we may be nearer than anticipated to forming a friendly symbiotic relationship with the environment. Such a case holds a bright prospect for the future.
